Awesome job! I loved the miniature versions of the characters in the wide shots - very creative solution to what would otherwise be some really complicated movement.

NCH responds:

oh yeah, the miniaturizing stuff was adapted from shows like wonderful world of gumball which they usually do minimalist rectangles on their characters when they show a very far/zoom out scene. it did save me alot of time and still brought the point across without the need to do too much complicated animation.

Doesn't work

I'm trying not to be overly critical, but you really need to make an effort to put something on here with a plot and working preloader, not just an image collage.

FloppDiddly responds:

the preloader works. there is no play button. two different things. Thank you.
and it is not a collage. there are some tweens....

I felt like I was having a seizure.

Strangely fun to watch, though I wouldn't recommend more of the sort. It was your first, and by those standards, nice work, you're getting the hang of it. But in the future, you should try for something a little more complex. The people on here are rough D: But hey, made it through, right? :)

Oh, also: music. You should add a song and reload the file.

Rawnern responds:

Yeah, I'll do!

Hey, another school project!

I like seeing these, they make me feel better about my own school projects when I see that other people are doing something similar :) The animation was nice, it had a good flow to it, and the narration was decent. Plus, the artwork was actually good. When it gets right down to it, what separates the good animators from the bad is their skill as an artist. Anyone can learn to use Flash, but most people can't draw worth crap. You've actually got some artistic talent. Good work.

Yusuf responds:

thanks!

Woo, physics.

Stupid school projects spawn many, many videos, I'm sure. I've got about three of my own. Nice animation, the illustration of the ideas is clever. Not sure if it's exciting enough to pander to the mad insomniacs that regularly patrol this site, but I'm actually interested in the subject, so I watched it all the way through anyway :)

Good work.

boomkinguy responds:

True, I was thinking of putting random stuff happening, and fast blinking lights, but it wouldn't be very informative lol.

Not too shabby

Wasn't bad, the animated person in the mario world was cool, but you should add some kind of story or event instead of just running through the level.

dylan-double-c responds:

Does the original Mario start with a story?

O_O

Man, that ending was horrible! (Not in a bad video kinda way, just in a sad, aweful kinda way.)
Still nicely made. The artwork was pretty well done.

ViNCeNT-aSMoDeuS responds:

Thank you. :)

Very nice!

I think this is one of the few ametuer Flash animations I've seen in a long while that actually shows any promise. Keep at it!

mikerotch5 responds:

thanks, thats very encouraging

Awesome animation!

The animation in this was great! The movements were so realistic. I can't wait to see a full length cartoon like this.

EaterofOrphans responds:

When I get a little more time, I DO plan to have something like, 2 or 3 min long.. thanks for the support :D

I like to think of things that make me smile, then bundle up those smiles into silly, semi-violent, cartoon-shaped packages, and then give them to people over the internet! SMILES FOR ALL!!!
